Registered Physiotherapist · Holistic Bodyworker
Hi, I'm Sarah Chu. I'm a registered physiotherapist based in Hong Kong, and I've spent years exploring what it truly means to heal — not just to fix symptoms, but to understand the body as a whole.
My journey into holistic bodywork began when I realized that many of my clients' pain wasn't purely structural. There were layers — emotional, energetic, biochemical — that conventional physiotherapy alone couldn't fully address. That realization led me to train in multiple modalities and develop an integrated approach.
I practice through the lens of Dr. Klinghardt's "5 Levels of Healing" — a framework that examines pain and illness across the structural, biochemical, energetic, emotional, and spiritual layers of the body. This allows me to look beyond the surface and find the root cause of what's holding your body back.
I believe your body already knows how to heal. My role is to listen to it, identify the blockages, and support it in returning to balance — step by step, layer by layer.
I'm committed to continuous learning, with formal qualifications and ongoing training in integrative and holistic approaches:
Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong · Reg. No. PT103081
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
European Graduate School · Minor in Psychology
I'm currently training with the Klinghardt Institute in Autonomic Response Testing (ART) and Applied Psycho-Neurobiology (APN), and with the Chikly Institute in Lymphatic Drainage Technique (LDT) and Brain Work. I have also trained with Taiwan's Dr. Lin Liangchuan (林兩傳) in Structural Reduction Therapy (SRT).
When I'm not in the clinic, I'm usually deepening my studies, attending workshops, or exploring how the body, mind, and spirit connect. I also volunteer to promote accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities in Hong Kong — a reminder that healing isn't only personal, but also about the spaces and communities we move through. I believe that healing is a lifelong journey — for both my clients and myself.
